Entry visas are Issued to individuals traveling to Sudan for tourism, business or official purposes.
– Filled out and signed application Form.
– Valid passport* (must be valid for at least 6 months)
– One (1) passport-sized photo attached to application form.
– Identification document of a Sudanese sponsor (with full details e.g. Full Name, Current Address, Phone Number). If no sponsor is available, the following may instead be submitted:
– *Applicants holding non-US passports must submit a copy of a valid residence permit in the United States.
– Applicants holding a US Travel Document must provide a copy of an entry permit issued by the Ministry of Interior – Passport & Immigration Authority in Sudan and proof of legal presence in the United States.
– $154 processing fees.

– A copy of an identification document issued in Sudan (Passport, National Number document, standard ID, ID of a parent or sibling).
– Applicants below the age of 18 require written consent from the father allowing them to obtain an entry visa, a copy of the identification documents of the father must also be submitted.
– Applicants below the age of 18 traveling without their parents are required to submit a letter of no objection signed by the father, a copy of the identification documents of the father must also be submitted.
– $154 processing fees.

– A letter from the sponsoring company indicating the type of work** the applicant will be carrying out, the duration of stay, statement of financial responsibility, and references in Sudan.
– *Applicants holding non-US passports must submit a copy of a valid residence permit in the United States.
– **Applicants looking to perform humanitarian work in Sudan must present the corresponding certificate from the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in Sudan. This may be obtained from the sending organization’s office.
– $154 processing fees.
– One (1) passport sized photo attached with the application form.
– A copy of the applicant’s passport* data page, passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
– A note verbale/letter from the Department of State or the applicant’s embassy/organization.
– Applicants holding non-US diplomatic/official passports must submit a copy of a valid residence permit in the United States.
– *The embassy will require the applicant submit his passport only after it has received approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sudan regarding their entry. The applicant will be informed when approval is received.
– Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing.
– Flight itineraries are not considered means to expedite processing. The embassy will not bear any responsibility for changes that may occur in the applicant’s flight arrangements due to delays in processing.
– The embassy will not accept sponsorship letters issued by uncertified companies.
– Yellow fever and cholera vaccinations are not required but recommended.
– Applicants who wish to receive their processed documents by mail must furnish the embassy with a return envelope from USPS, FedEx, or UPS with a tracking number (postage/shipment must be paid by the applicant). Failure to provide a return envelope will result in delayed receipt of the processed documents.

– Walk-in applicants may pay in cash. Credit/debit cards, however, are not accepted.
